What is Intentional Camera Movement and why use it? Intentional Camera Movement (or ICM for short) is a photographic technique where the camera is moved as the image is being taken. These images are all taken on the Wirral Peninsula focusing on the beach, the sunset and Hilbre Island. The images can be purchased from my website.

West Kirby marine lake in the evening, the sky is darkening to deep blue and there is a blush of orange and gold along the horizon. The tide is out and the sunset is reflected in the wet sand. The marine lake is quiet, the water is still, the water reflects the deep blue of the sky and the golden shades of the sunset. The image is taken using intentional camera movement to an over all soft effect.
